Winterisation & Summer Preparation

A method of prevention, but not a total guarantee to internal appliance & pipework freezing

THS Heat use a high pressure machine to clear water out of the water pipes, not perfect , better than other methods
 
THS Heat have the equipment which allows a test to determine the concentration antifreeze in the central heating water system.

Winter Preparation (Hot & Cold Plumbing)

Drain down pipes, domestic plumbing system & hot water heater.
Clear & drain plugs - prepare wastes etc
Disconnect pipes underneath

Planned Maintenance

Winter Preparation ( Central Heating System)

• Central Heating System: Test for concentration of antifreezein system, add if needed further antifreeze to acquire the correct contentration 
• or 
• Total drain down of central heating system, and add fresh antifreeze. 

Antifreeze needs to checked and repalced every couple of years.

Spring Preparation & Re-Connection

Re-fill domestic plumbing system & hot water heater.
Clear & check drain plugs - prepare wastes etc
Re-connect pipes underneath

Repair water leaks & replace components damaged by frost
