Aquair is a water to air heat exchange unit with a heat output of frrom 10kw – 36 kws (assuming a hot water supply of 80C is available).
With the latest energy efficient technology, the Aquair Heat Interface Unit is the most unique and versatile solution when replacing any aging warm air heater. The Aquair will provide all the benefits that a centralised heating system can offer, but with a host of additional advantages.
There could also be a requirement to heat some previously unheated rooms or add additional heating to an extension. With the Johnson & Starley Aquair it is possible to mix both warm air heating and radiators in one home installed with a combi in our range
The Aquair HIU is unique in its design and versatility and will provide all the benefi ts that centralised heating systems offer. There is no other product on the market that can replace a
warm air heater in a single dwelling, fully utilising the existing warm air ducting, be integrated into a centralised heating system, run in conjunction with an existing wet system with
the option of supplying unheated air for cooling purposes during warm weather conditions.
Aquair HIU’s can be used with a vast range of heat sources
As well as natural gas & LPG can be used with oil condensing boilers, heat pumps, biomass, solid fuel or combined heat and power (CHP)

Available as either an upflow or downflow unit with modulating control incorporated. With a mesh filter fitted as standard, a Cleanflow electronic air cleaner being available as an option. The unit requires a supply of hot water at a minimum temperature of 80C. Water connections are top left or right handed through knockouts in the sides of the cabinet. Air is drawn in through the air filter or air cleaner (if fitted) and the heat exchanger by a centrifugal fan, and is discharged through the opposite end of the unit. An external summer air circulation switch (not provided) provides the facility to supply unheated air to the air outlets during warm weather. An external timer (not provided) will be required if it is necessary to set the periods of operation.
Tips:
Air circulation fan with EC technology
Air filter
PCB control board
Hot water return to heat source
Hot water flow from heat source
Heat exchanger
Can fully untilise the existing warm air ducting
