Fanned Radiators
Fan Convectors require connection to a ‘wet’ central heating system and an electrical connection to run the fan.
Hot water from the central heating system passes through the heat exchanger transferring its heat to the aluminium fins. Cooler air is drawn in by the fan and heated as it passes over the heat exchanger before being expelled gently back into the room. This gives a more even temperature and will heat a room in much less time than a traditional panel radiator.
Central Heating Radiators
We supply & replace high quality radiators, which come fitted with or without top grilles and side panels. The radiators are supplied in an all white finish, the smooth surface of the radiators are achieved by a unique two coat paint process that ensures a long and hardwearing lifespan.
Designer Radiators
You may decide to have a different style of radiator, for example we can supply a laddered towel rail for the bathroom which comes in a stunning chrome orbwhite finish. These towel rails come in a variety of sizes to suit the size of your room. For a different look to your room there are the old style column radiators which come in a variety of finishes and colours. The radiators are more expensive as they are made to order based on the classic cast iron design.
We can advise and provide choices of traditional, contemporary or futuristic designer radiators. For those that would like creative and functional solutions with a daring aesthetic, radiators that fit seamlessly and unobtrusively into interiors and give a feeling of well-being. - What is Power Flushing and why is it needed?
Power Flushing.
‘POWER FLUSHING’, ‘JET FLUSHING’ are all expressions used [in the heating trade over many years] to denote the process by which heating systems are forcibly cleansed using water at high velocity, but low pressure, so that no physical damage is caused to the system. The process can be made even more effective with the addition of powerful cleansing and mobilising agents.
The objective is to restore systems with circulation and boiler noise problems [caused by sludge and corrosion deposits] o optimum operation. Power flushing removes these deposits and the problems that they cause.
These problems are not inevitable, and good design, care and maintenance of a heating system will prevent and often cure them.
